Australia bans social media

The recent push by countries like Australia to implement blanket social media bans for users under 16 is commendable in its intent but fundamentally flawed in its method. Trying to solve the problems of Web2 platforms—cyberbullying, mental health issues, and harmful content—by simply building a wall is a digital dead end. We must stop being prohibitors and start being architects.
